These terms apply to your use of PDF into MD at pdfintomd.com.

The service

PDF into MD is a free tool that converts simple, text-based PDF files into Markdown in your browser. It supports one file at a time, up to 10 MB (10,000,000 bytes) and 20 pages. Scanned PDFs, tables, multiple columns, equations and images are not supported and may be refused or converted with losses. The Help page describes the current limits.

Your files

Only convert files that you have the right to use. Your PDF is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to us; you remain responsible for the files you convert and for what you do with the result.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, and don’t try to disrupt it, overload it or send it anything other than normal use of the website.

Check the result

Conversion can lose or misplace text in complex layouts and may keep line-break hyphens. Check the result against the original before you rely on it, especially numbers, names and dates.

Free service

The service is free, is provided as it is, and may change or be unavailable at times. There is no paid plan; if paid features are introduced, their terms will be published before any purchase is possible.
